What, no avocados?

Mexican Coffee Beans are a relatively new source to the coffee growing world but they have actually been growing this crop since the 1700’s. More known for it’s avocado production of late, coffee has become more of an export from Mexico and given it’s potentially amazing growing conditions (think high altitudes, lots of water and great soil conditions) the Sierra Azul Organic Coffee is a delicious cup indeed. It shouldn’t be overlooked by coffee aficionados looking for some more exotic, striking and interesting flavours.

What do Mexican Coffee Beans taste like?

In our freshly roasted Mexican coffee beans you will taste Chocolate, Plum and Stone Fruit. Enjoy as a filter, Chemex or aeropress or with milk for a longer cup of coffee. Delicious coffee light, fruity coffees with lighter body with elements of bergamot, lemongrass and jasmine. It’s Grey’s current favourite.

How is Sierra Azul Coffee Grown?

Café Sierra Azul is quite a small cooperative that brings together just over 200 small holder farmers, named for the bluish hue of the tree covered mountains of the Reserve (the sierra azul, in Spanish), the organisation’s members are united not only in improving the livelihoods of communities across the area and beyond but also in their aim of producing the region’s best speciality coffee.
